Also known as "Advantage Car Rental" RATING SHOULD BE A -10 UNSCRUPULOUS, DISGUSTING. I wish I would have read the reviews before using this rental agency. This agency is AWFUL!!!! Do not be fooled by their prices on-line. Their customer service is HORRIBLE. Rented a car for my partially handicapped 70 year old brother for 4 days; paid the $50 insurance fee on line with a balance due of $146.58 at the time of pick up. My brother lost the key to his rental; trying to reach them AFTER you have your car is IMPOSSIBLE. All automated system and voicemail. Messages are not returned. Road side assistance was useless....they could call directly to the PHX location but stated policy would allow them to give me a number to speak to someone directly. Roadside then suggested that if the message I left at the PHX office at 9am isn't returned within a couple of hours, try again "because that is a really busy location"- are you fricking kidding me??. Would not send someone to my brother's hotel with the spare key as they "didn't want to lose the only other key". Said we would have to have it towed back to PHX location and they would give him new car. Asked why they couldn't send someone with a new car to his hotel and take the original car back with them. Refused to do so. Roadside assistance suggested trying a locksmith to make a key and gave me 3 local locksmiths. None could make the key. After hiring a local tow company to get the car back to the PHX location, they charged my brother almost a total of $500. $146 (original balance due); $150 for the key (understandable); and another $350 in taxes, fees, and all kinds of made up crap. If I had been there with my brother, they would NOT have gotten away with this. They not only took advantage of a senior citizen, but a partially disabled one at that.
