So my wife and I finally got the opportunity to stop in and have dinner here. Needless to say, we were not dissappointed. she and I are from the south and we know how hard it is to find good southern flavors here in the west valley. We knew as soon as we tried the sweet tea that we were in for a treat.
You see, sweet tea is simple but you got to do it right. Every place we go to here that "try's" sweet tea don't get it right. This place does. Anyhow, she had the jambalaya, gumbo and this crab pie thing. I had étouffée on cat fish with dirty rice. It was awesome!
The only thing that I personally didn't care for was the fried green tomatoes. With that said, being from the south, I'm used to having mine fried in a pan and not a deep fryer. I will say they were okay though.
Anyhow, 5 stars from this southern boy and his southern girl! Oh and the service was excellent!
