VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED
I was going to get food from McDonalds, come across a car in the middle of the road hazard lights on and I park and ask what's going on and the gentlemen tells me a car hit a dog and kept going and he got out moved the dog from the road and placed her on the sidewalk for safety. His phone died I called 911 and they said they'll get a officer out in 5-10 minutes and 30 minutes goes by not a signal officer passes but a Tahoe SUV K-9 unit flies by taps the brakes and looks at us and takes off fast and the other guy jumped in his car and met at the intersection the other guy told the officer "a dog got hit bad and we don't want to leave it and it's not dying" officer specifically said "I don't care about that dog" as some other unprofessional language and floored it and took off and criticizing the one guys driving when the K-9 SUV officer was driving like a total lunatic in the first spot. I thought the police are good and helpful and caring and especially the K-9 unit officers but I've lost hope and respect for all K-9 unit officers and the PPD. If I can get a dang apology I'd be happy and I think people will understand better. An apology and the officer on 35th Avenue in the K-9 unit SUV the two officers between Camelback and Campbell road to visit me or have the Sargent or their supervisor call me up will mean the world. I'm a animal lover I will not let a animal die on the side of a sidewalk or anywhere alone. I just wanted it removed and taken somewhere or if worst case put down but not to die on the side of the road. I respect the officers but after their inappropriate behavior and language I've had enough. I'll be expecting a call from the K-9 Unit office or supervisor. God Bless
