  • Summer is the best!!!! She drove ALL the way out to my house (1+ hours away) on same day notice to help me and my daughter with latch issues and for all around general breastfeeding support and knowledge. As a first time mom, breastfeeding is so new to me obviously... when I had my baby in the hospital the lactation consultant was on vacation so I wasn't able to see her and my baby was having a hard time latching and being able to breastfeed has always been so important to me- we had to feed her my breast milk through syringes at the hospital :( Thank goodness for Summer... she literally helped me SO much. She made me feel extremely comfortable and was so thorough with questions regarding labor and delivery and medical history. I felt like I've known her for a long time, she is very easy to talk to and 'gets' what you are saying when you voice any concerns or have questions. She was so good with my baby girl and it was very obvious that she made her feel comfortable too, even while she was doing her little exam on her of her mouth. She showed us multiple positions for breastfeeding and gave us good tips on how to help her latch better. My baby is now 7 weeks old and we do not have any issues breastfeeding. I am so relieved and so happy that we met with Summer. I want every mama to know how awesome she is. Thank you for everything!!!
