| - Long story short: decent deal, crappy quality, very very crappy service (5 visits, 3 of which they were extremely late and 1 no show).
I came here during the Memorial Day sale for various items. Eventually I decided to get a dining room table set. Throughout the sale, I felt like I was in a used car lot - the rep kept going back and forth and telling me things like "Lets see what I can do." and "You're getting a great deal. We normally dont offer discounts like this." However, I thought I got a decent deal so I was fine with the sale.
The floor model of the dining table didnt come together properly. But I was assured by the salesman that it was fine. And the new model I was going to get that day would be fine.
Well, both of them were lies. After deal was concluded, turns out they had to wait till Saturday to get it to me. Fine. Then I get the table, and it wont fit. Argh. I fill in the form and say I cannot accept it.
Big calls me 3 days later saying they will schedule a replacement. They schedule the next weekend from 10-2. They actually arrive at 4. And again, the table doesnt fit. I fill in the form.
Lo and behold... nobody calls me this time. So I wait a week and give them a call, they said you have to schedule a new one. Well, crap, I've got guests coming in this weekend, so I couldn't.
A week and a half goes by, I call. They say its too late - need to do a repair. WTF? Fine, schedule a repair.
Again, schedule for morning, they arrive at 6. And guess what? They CAN do the repair, but they dont have the tools.
Schedule for Monday. Monday comes along, they dont show up. Get a call in afternoon "Sorry, reschedule Friday?".
Today is Friday. They told me 10:30-11:30. Its 12:30, they're not here.
I will NEVER buy from Bigs Furniture again. The furniture quality is subpar, the service is horrendous and the prices arent even that great.
PS yes, this is my only review. No, I'm not a troll. I hated this experience so much I had to post.
