  • Love Me Sweet opened up another location in Scarborough Town Centre. They share a spot in the upper level of the mall with Squish Candy and Sweet Jesus. Love Me Sweet not only sell their famous cheesecakes here, but they sell mini cheese tarts of several flavours! Their packaging is cute and forms into a little box for you to hold. I bought their 3 for $10 deal, which rounds up to $11.30 (with tax). Their flavours consist of Original, Matcha, Chocolate, Strawberry and Blueberry. I really like the Original Cheese Tart - it reminded me of Pablo in Japan but nothing can beat Pablo cheese tarts. The inside of the cheese tart is gooey while the tart itself is soft. Though the consistency of the looks isn't always the same, the texture and taste of it are pretty consistent at least from my experience. The Matcha Cheese Tart was alright, and the tarts have red bean on them. I picked out the red bean haha. The texture inside was also gooey texture on the inside. I've also tried their Blueberry Cheese Tart, which actually melted off the cheese tart and was pretty gross to look at. Luckily I bought these cheese tarts for myself and not as a gift for someone else because the blueberry leaked onto the other Original Cheese Tart and it made that cheese tart soggy and nasty at the bottom. The Blueberry Cheese Tart didn't taste that much different. It's just simply the Original Cheese Tart with blueberry sauce/toppings on top. The flavour on the inside wasn't any different. Love Me Sweet's mini cheese tarts definitely help curb my cheese tarts craving. I like how the inside is gooey and mushy, almost like a melted texture whereas the outside requires a soft bite and the tart has a slightly harder and contrasting texture. I can't comment much about the service since I'm usually just in-and-out. Though their service is relatively fast and I never have to wait too long to get my cheese tarts. I've never waited long in a line-up either so that's a plus. I would definitely recommend the Original and the Matcha Cheese Tart, but not the Blueberry as it isn't that much different - it was basically blueberry jam on top of the original cheese tart. I would imagine the Strawberry Cheese Tart to be the same as the Blueberry when I judge from the photos online. I think perhaps the Chocolate Cheese Tart will be different on the inside, so that might be worth trying for me on my next visit.
