| - Very disappointing. Food was fairly tasty but cool and service was horrendous. It took 30 minutes for the waitress to take our order, another 30 minutes for the FIRST entree (twice cooked pork) to arrive, and then DH had to wait another 20 minutes before his General Tsao's chicken came. So we really didn't get to eat dinner together! THEN, our appetizer, the steamed buns showed up--after we had finished our meals! (We thought they had been forgotten, and at that point, we were so disgusted, we didn't say anything.) Our server was very brusque, hurried, and never made eye contact during the few minutes she allotted us. What a difference from another server we observed, who was all smiles and worked with the Jewish couple at a nearby table to order in such a way to meet their dietary needs. We have always liked Szechwan Palace, but we think we'll try Beijing Gardens at the Chinese Cultural Center next time---that's how disappointed we were.
