  • If you are afraid of heights....this isn't the spot for you. The CN Tower is much more than just a tower. The architecture is pure brilliant. A must see destination for anyone taking a trip to Toronto. Once you enter the tower at the base, there is a gift shop (just like every other tourist destination), a small restaurant, etc....just like the lobby of any building. Each ticket is about $30 bucks, you pay about $10 extra to go to the skypod (a section that's about 33 stories higher than the main lookout point). If you really want an adventure, you can pay a lot more to take a walk on the outside of the tower and do the "edge walk" (keep in mind, there is a harness...they're not totally crazy). I am convinced that the people who take the edge walk have to dress in all red jumpsuits just in case they fall, they will be easy to spot as they plummet to the ground, maybe not though. Be sure to take the elevators with the glass floor. The view is breathtaking as you begin your ascent. Your ears will start to pop as you near the top. The place has everything, a restaurant, theater...you could spend hours upon hours there. My favorite part was the glass floor. Before going, I thought it wouldn't be a problem at all to walk out on the floor, but when I actually went out on that floor and looked down...it wasn't right...I was sooo nervous! The tons of little kids running around me on the floor didn't help at all..."STOP JUMPING!!!" I kept my cool though, took my pic and ran off of the glass! LOL You have to stop here...it's a must. Good times!
