  • Who doesn't love craft stores? This particular Michaels seems to be on the larger side, which is great because they offer nearly everything a creative individual could want (the big gap comes with no fabric section, but there are plenty of alternatives for that). I'm always getting suckered in by the dollar stationery, and Michael's is my go-to place for supplies when I'm upping my baked goods game. They've also got frames in all shapes and sizes and levels of quality basically on perma-sale. If what you want isn't on sale, give it a week, as it probably will be soon. Another plus is that the employees always seem genuinely happy to be there, which is a good sign at any establishment. They're also always happy to point me in the right direction when I'm not sure exactly where to look for something like Mod Podge that would logically belong in about five different places.
