| - First time getting nails done and I was pretty impressed with how they turned out, however there was a few things I was disappointed by. To start out I. Made an appointment for 3:30, arrived at 3:15, checked in at the front and had a seat. Half an hour goes by still not one acknowledgment, finally at 4:06 I'm taken in with a nail tech. She asks what I'm having done and agreed upon burgundy, matte, acrylic nails. She starts picking out tips and matching them up to my nails and gets up and is gone for about 5 minutes. This continued through the whole appointment, she'd get up and leave to answer the phone, help out another customer etc, totally cool I get that she's the one right near the front however I noticed who I checked with was actually a receptionist, and I thought naturally she would be the one carrying out the tasks. Anyways I've got the tips applied, acrylic on, and filed to the correct shape, we've now applied colour and she's applying the last clear top coat which I would have assumed to be the mattifying coat but I ended up with glossy nails ( which isn't a big deal at all because I realized that I liked the glossy finish) now with dry nails I take a look and I can feel the rough edges of the nails, shellac missed along the edges, uneven thicknesses. However I am happy with the general shape and the fact that they are all the correct length! All in all I would come here again, that's if my first choice of salon wasn't available.
