  • Not sure why all the mediocre reviews before. Have been by this place many times. It looks really cool from the outside and in. To start, the drinks are amazing, albeit not for the faint of heart. This place knows their liquor! And not everything vodka and blanco tequila, we're talking the good dark stuff too (they make a sazerac that is as good as any I have had in New Orleans, and that's a lot!). As for the food, I can see why some people don't like it. Its adventurous, and probably a bit too out there for some, but I think the Chef cooks exactly how I like to eat, so it gets high marks for me. My wife would only give this place 3 stars, I would give it 5, so we settled in the middle. This place is my go-to for cocktails in my neighborhood, and for hearty interesting flavors for dinner.
