I'm sitting here the day after my wedding upset. We were staying here for our wedding and I would rate the service close to 3 stars. Since I was getting my hair and makeup done in the room, I asked for an extra chair. The lady said that was just not possible. I've attended conferences here for work and there are literally at least 2000 chairs somewhere. The lady said sorry, but I don't know what to do. I told the lady to please ask her manager and that I was getting married that day. I did end up receiving an extra chair, but felt I was asking for an absurd request.
We also wanted to dine at Kai restaurant. They had absolutely no availability for guests and had to book weeks in advance. I mentioned the special occasion, but all she did was offer to be put on a waiting list that would unlikely happen. There are only two restaurants on property and the other one got 3 stars so we didn't want to dine there either. There are dozens of resorts in Arizona that would deliver exceptional service.
Their is no point in staying here unless you are ok with paying hundreds of dollars a night for a tiny room, uncomfortable bed, thin walls and 1 star service. There is what they call a river, which looks like a swampy canal where they offer water activities. I would be afraid of being but by mosquitoes the entire time and the green water did not appear inviting.
