Coming from a different market and moving to Scottsdale there is a great deal to learn; even when you have been a Realtor for 30+ years, housing here requires a full set of new challenges. We waited on doing window treatments until we finished a remodel and the switching out of old furnishings to new contemporary (took 3 years). We had 3 quotes. We got to meet Rod & Katy thru Rosie's list. Being a Realtor I am always skeptical with tradesman and vendors I do not know. From the minute Rod began to explain the process all that skepticism went away. The big deal for me simply was the shutters are built here in AZ. Not in Texas, not in the Carolina's, but here. He was able to provide us with a beautiful simplistic contemporary trim. No one else could do that. We got to pick the paint - no one else gave us that choice. We ended up having one problematic window install. Goofy stuff and not bad when you had 17 windows to cover and 2 sliders. The one shutter had to go back twice. In less than a week we were 100% installed. I heard from Katy at least twice during that time. The installer Jesse top block! His assistant Angel - oh my - I never saw a young man work so efficiently. My first electric bill reflected a savings of $82. The shutters had been in for 2 weeks of that billing cycle. A world of difference hanging out inside. Go ahead and get your quotes, I can pretty much guarantee you will sign the contract with Rod & Katy. Did I say no delays on production? They gave us a date and on that date the shutters were installed.
