rev:text	FLO SCHMO........... Progressive Insurance agent Myketa Simms made a bad situation even worse after her insured hit my car with his motorcycle and took off. I chased him down and made him stop. He gave me false insurance information which covered another vehicle. So...the motorcycle was not insured. He will not contact his insurance company to report the hit and run accident and is evading all responsibility. I waited THREE WEEKS to be told that the motorcycle that hit me wasn't insured. I had to get the name and phone number of Mikita's supervisor, Brittany Jacobs, who finally told me the motorcycle wasn't covered and never was. Also, because he wasn't driving the insured car, there was nothing they could do and he would not suffer any consequences as a result of driving an uninsured vehicle, hitting a car, taking off without stopping and giving false insurance information to his victim. Why did it take three weeks to tell me that? I could have had the car fixed a long time ago. I asked over and over if the motorcycle was insured or not and all Myketa would say is "we cannot confirm liability." "We cannot reach Jacob so there's nothing we can do." What she could have done is told me the motorcycle wasn't insured and they wouldn't be covering the hit and run accident by their insured. I imagine Progessive will continue to take Jacob's insurance money though! Too bad they're not using it to pay back the victims for which the money should rightfully be used! Working with Progressive was a bad experience. They are the epitome of why people don't trust insurance companies. They made a bad situation even worse with their lengthy delays, lack of information and a generally rude and inconsiderate customer service. I told Myketa a week ago that it was like pulling teeth to get any type of status or resolvation on this claim from her. Even then, she didn't bother to tell me the motorcycle wasn't covered by Jacob's insurance. What a frustrating woman to work with. State Farm is the way to go!!! They are FANTASTIC when it comes to accidents as well as great insurance coverage all around. SHAME ON YOU PROGRESSIVE!
