The instructor was authoritative and more energetic than I'm used to, but surprisingly nice about people leaving class. I've done many classes and tried more than a few studios. This studio was so hot and humid that I had to lie down during the balancing series during my favourite postures. Nuts! Even when half of the class was on the floor he still didn't open the door and much to my discouragement he even turned down his wonderful, life-giving ceiling fans. I don't see the point of this. Like, hello, I can't do my postures when I'm blacking out, please! I will go back, though and give it another chance. The studio is posh, beautiful, professional, and very deserving of a second look. And although the instructor should slow down his script sometimes so as not to sound like an auctioneer, I must say that he was somewhat entertaining. At least when I wasn't hurling mind-daggers at him to get him to open the freaking door. There's free parking there so at least you only have to stagger a few feet to your car afterward which is a pleasant bonus.
