  • If you're an employee (server/barkeep) hanging out by the front desk and see someone struggling to open the door, both doors, don't smile at them and then look away and go by your business. Help them. My wife really wanted to come in and have lunch as she wanted some comfort food (guess where she's from), and that pretty much ruined her day. After I called to check what time they were open, someone picked up the phone and said they were open for another half hour. We walked back in and Christine was real nice and apologetic, and she did explain that the doors were heavy; not enough to get us to eat here though, the damage was done. My wife and I are relocating to Charlotte in a week and will be looking for another place to call our new digs. Sorry.
