  • Although I am writing a fairly negative review, I think the employees at this facility were very nice, the whole concept of HMO dentistry is what is getting to me. I have been seeing the same private dentist in Henderson for the the last 15 years. My husband retired on Medicare and I was left with the Affordable Care Act. I signed up and had my first appt. today. I have been suffering with a toothache for the least 3 weeks and made an appt. with my assigned dental network. I was seen by the dentist who owns the franchise and given a through exam. I told him how much pain I was in and he said he could fix it with a root canal. I knew this and was ready for the treatment. He left the room and his " girl" came in to explain the charges to me. $1500 dollars later I said I had to leave and they let me, knowing I was in a great deal of pain with an appt for a week away and if I brought the money. I can't stand this new way of doing things. There is just no caring about people anymore. I think they are out for the money and not caring about the people. This is what is wrong with Obamacare.
