This review is based on my first visit to Procare Medical Center. I came here based on a recommendation from a person working at a Walgreen's clinic. I needed a certain vaccine and Walgreens didn't accept my health insurance, but luckily Procare did.
The front staff was very courteous and helpful. I had called ahead of time to make sure the clinic had the particular shot I needed and also to find out if they accepted my insurance. They answered my questions quickly and politely.
I walked in at around 4pm on a Thursday without an appointment and saw that the lobby looked pretty full. However, I was called up much quicker than I expected and was led to one of the examination rooms. A nurse practitioner came in with a laptop and asked me some basic background questions and took my vitals. Another person came in to make sure I was healthy enough to get the vaccine. Finally a third person came in to administer the shot. I didn't mind seeing all these people because they were all friendly and professional and seemed to know what they were doing. I was very happy with the service and was impressed that I got in and out of there in under an hour without an appointment.
I also had checked the Yelp reviews before I visited the clinic. I could tell that some of the negative reviews were more of a reflection of the reviewers themselves than of the clinic. I would visit this clinic again and definitely recommend it.
