I've been to the Grand Canyon once before and this is my 2nd time going by tour bus. They had a pretty good promo going on to the South Rim for $79 USD and provide round transportation including lunch during the time we were in Vegas so we booked that. These are usually all-day tours so make sure to allocate 1 full day for the Grand Canyon. There was a bus that picked up at our hotel that goes to an Information centre where they give you information on your tour and divide the different groups on their way to the different parts of the Grand Canyon. The tour bus is a motor coach so seats are quite comfy. I loved our bus driver as he was hilarious and informative during the entire time. There are also various stops along the way including a lunch stop where they give you a voucher for lunch before heading to the Grand Canyon. It is a long bus trip there for a combined 15 hours round trip. We reached the South Rim around 2PM and they gave us roughly 2/2 1/2 Hours in Total which isn't too bad. It got darker around 5PM and it started raining. When you are at the canyon, the weather can be quite unpredictable. My friends and I took lots of pictures and it was quite nice. There are also some boutique gift shops where you can pickup souvenirs. We left the Canyon around 5 or so and head back to the Vegas strip. We got back to one of the main hotels where they separated us in different buses to be dropped off at the different hotels. Overall, it was a great experience traveling with Canyon Tours and Grayline. Highly recommended to book their tours when you want to visit the Grand Canyon.
