If you haven't tried Wal-Mart Grocery pick-up, you should. I've used it for over a year. It's pretty simple.
You select a pick-up time and order online or through the app. And you can include some items other than food like deordant, cat food or paper towels. Fresh produce is also included. I only had one experience where the picker picked items out of date. They replaced it, gave me a refund and the grocery pick-up manager personally called to apologize which I really respect. The standard is they are supposed to pick items that have a date at least five days away. And if something is out of stock, you can allow substitutes so they'll either get you a different brand or two smaller items that add up to the larger quantity you ordered.
You'll get a notification when it's time to pick up. Then you can call or check-in on the app to let them know you are on the way. My app doesn't work for checking in so I usually have to text. Then follow the orange signs around the side of the building to the well-labeled parking spots. They'll bring the order out and even load it in your car. And the staff is super friendly.
And this service is free! That's right you can get your groceries without walking into the store. And this was especially helpful on busy days like the weekend before Thanksgiving.
Otherwise, for the store itself, it's your typical Wal-Mart.
