Dog... I dont. I'm speechless to be honest. A co-worker suggested this place to me, and I put on my big girl hat and trekked into Lakewood to check it out.
The inside is nice, cute, plenty of seating for a bakery. Everything is in cute little baskets behind the counter, a wide array of bread and baked goods.
I came, I saw, and I needed the chocolate chip cookies. And man...I left crying. My first bite into the cookie I was instantly taken back to 2001 sitting in my Nonnas apartment in Brooklyn, watching the Q train pass by while I ate cookies and drank some Yoo-hoo. Like that's how authentic and good and freaking real these cookies were! They were crisp on the outside, soft inside; salty and sweet. The perfect combination needed for a cookie! I also got the salted chocolate chip, which were also amazing, and the cranberry oatmeal. All of the cookies I purchased were well worth the money and the trip! I would have loved to try some of their muffins and breads but my stomach was bigger than my wallet after my trip lol.
