We went back yesterday for their Prime Rib dinner and I must say it is one of the best Prime Ribs I've had in this city and I've eaten it in some of the best steak houses in the city. Again the sides of mashed potatoes, green beans and soup were perfect. My only "gripe" is the pie crust was too thick. The cherry filling was on the mark. Service could not be better. We have found a place where it seems that everything on the menu is made with care along with correct cooking technique. If you love old fashioned home made cooking you will not be disappointed in Mother's. Area leaves something to be desired, but I have found over and over that places in poorer areas care more about their food than their location. Inside however, the booths are comfortable and the ambiance is fine.
