Been going here for almost 5 years maybe longer. I don't usually have any issues with the staff but my last appointment will be my last. Unprofessional new dental hygienist who was nervous during my entire procedure (fumbling around for instruments and not knowing where things were in the office). I don't come to the dentist for a test-run of a new employee and nervous talking. I come for efficiency.
About halfway thru the 1.5 hr procedure, she spent 5+ minutes on my mouth without the doctor's help, nervously talking to herself about how she couldn't get something loose. I pulled it out and demanded to see the doctor. Of course I was angry and frustrated and told her off. I don't want someone poking around my mouth and talking to themselves about how they are having problems.
After the incident and the procedure was finished, an office manager came in to try and place blame on me for becoming frustrated, claiming that I should have calmly asked for the doctor. Unbelievable. Of course in hindsight we should all be calm, but when a person is clearly having issues with their job it shouldn't be on me to get the doctor. Go get the doctor and get help instead of making the customer upset and frustrated.
