| - OK, so check this out. I know I have been long dormant with the Yelp reviews (bad girl, BAD GIRL!), so to make it up to ya'll, I am now embarking on a casino-by-casino tour of my new hometown of LV, NV, and will include reviews of each as I tour them. Now, these will not include room stays, but just schlepping around the premises - eating, drinking, and checking out anything that moves or doesn't move. Got it? OK, let's proceed...
Review #38:
the Bellagio is upscale, refined, & understated; except for the off-lobby area which is fanciful, Oriental-themed, and I bet those big goat creatures look even better if you are heavily medicated; the outside entrance is very posh, and basically this is the high-end Las Vegas experience; the fountains are amazing, but let's face it - they are mainly a free attraction for people walking on The Strip; the interior courtyard & pool area are as fab as you would expect them to be; pretty much all of the restaurant options are quite expensive - no bargains to be had here!; there are 2 shopping corridors, if you can afford the ultra-high-end stores; the meeting room / convention area is huge & sprawling; much more activity at the tables than at the slots; best craft brew bet = welcome to the age of the dinosaurs; a very few at the Cafe Bellagio, otherwise it's bottles at the sundries store; as per the Wynn, rich people like to pay $10 for crappy macro-brewed beer apparently
