This ice cream parlor isn't just "vintage" -- it's the real deal.
Klavon's originally opened in the 1920's, closed in the 1970's for 20 years, and then re-opened in 1999 by a family member. Many original details remain, including the marble soda fountain counter and the amazing stained glass windows in the front of the building.
The ice cream flavors are pretty standard.
It's a little bit off the beaten path, but definitely worth making a trip for a fun treat and a peek back in time.
