  • So my boyfriend and I have lived here for 4 years. He has lived here 5 years. In that time, I have seen our rent go up and the apartments go downhill. To start, the gate is always open, and the pool never is. This summer I think they had it open Memorial Day weekend, then never again. All year round it is closed and it used to be opened all the time when it was brooks tone before this ultras company took over. Two consecutive years in a row, they have done fire inspections where they have entered our apartment and when they left they left the keys in the door. Two years in a row. The first time our neighbor took them out of the door and gave them to us later telling us what happened. Luckily we had a nice neighbor who just moved out because the apartment has gone so downhill. Then this year it just happened again before thanksgiving. My dad actually was coming to visit from San Diego and found them in the door. I think it goes without saying that if we trust these people to come into our apartment to do an inspection they should not be leaving their set of keys in the door for someone to walk in right behind them and steal our stuff. I was so mad I couldn't even go to the office to complain because I thought I might lose it on them. Then my shower has been running cold. It will be warm for approimately three minutes and then start running cold and you have to keep turning it up until you get to the highest setting it will go where it still only puts out Luke warm water. I call them yesterday to tell them to come look at it because I'm home and I don't trust them to enter my home after the key incident. Nobody comes. I call them again today. No one has come and sorry but I don't want to take a cold shower for the amount of money I pay for this place. My boyfriend and I met in this apartment, I love the actual apartment but the management are completely incompetent. We are saving for a home and will be leaving soon but if you are a new client I would not move in here. The neighborhood is obviously crap and the management seem like they are hoping you get your stuff stolen since they are leaving their set of keys in the door.
