This is the second time I've stayed here. Both times were for sporting events and I wasn't the one choosing the hotel.
One of the most difficult things is food. There is nothing within walking distance unless you go into the subway/bus station and eat at McDonalds or Timmy's. They do have a restaurant in the hotel but there's usually one 1 woman working so it takes 20 minutes just for her to give you menus probably an hour before you see any food. Oh and she's got a pretty shit attitude like you ordering a pizza is really putting her out. To be fair they need to hire someone extra to share the load. Oh yeah and breakfast is not included like at some other hotels like Holiday Inn Express.
My second issue is the free wi-fi. It's free because there isn't any! I've been here 2 days and can't get online for more than 5 minutes. It's pretty ridiculous for this day and age where people need to work and are online constantly.
My third and last issue is the waste that happens. We opened a soap in the bathroom, used it for 1/2 a day and when we got back later it had been thrown away with a new packaged one in the dish. Talk about an absolute waste!
The elevators took f-o-r-e-v-e-r so if you can walk then I'd say you'll get there 10 minutes quicker. I'm paraplegic so I had to sit and wait.
I'm guessing that if our team books here again next year all of these things will be exactly the same because I don't really think the hotel even cares.
Guess we'll wait and see!
The only reason I have them 2 stars was because the beds were fairly comfy and the cleaning lady was really nice. Other than that they've got some work to do!
