rev:text	We had a very positive experience at the Shade Store. Christina was the one that helped us at the store. We found her to be friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with the selection process of our drapery and shades. She communicated with us throughout the entire process. Everything was delivered on time, the quality of the shades and drapery were excellent. We ordered a cornice which came in a giant box weighing 66 pounds. As for negatives, its a bit of a pain having to go to a store to get samples, or even worse, requesting them online, and waiting for the samples to be delivered. Having a physical store lets you look at many samples at a times. Also, while we found the quality good, the devil in in the details. Two roller blinds didn't have any cornice coverings, which we realized after they were installed. Also our drapery for a window 12 ft. wide didn't seem to have heavy enough weights for the heavy fabric with liner. It was quite wrinkled, which is expected, and we used a steamer for that, but still were not sure it is hanging they way it should. Overall, we save about a 1/3 by doing it ourselves, but it is also a fair bit of work installing everything correctly. It took 8+ hours to install the drapery and cornice correctly, something an expert could have probably done in two hours. Overall a good experience which we couldn't have done without Christina and a physical store to check out samples, but a lot of work never-the-less, but you can save some money. In the end, we would do it again.
