Simply put, we were underwhelmed. Let's go in order. The beer list is pretty good. It took about 15 minutes for our group of 10 to get drinks.
The menu is decent, but surprisingly lacks a variety of meat choices for dinners. Appetizers were above average. The fried pickles were nothing special. The short rib flat bread was great. The tater tots are fries, which is just dumb.
No bread is given prior to the meal, which is disappointing.
I had the pork chop. It's gigantic. It was cooked perfectly but did lack seasoning. I had a side of mashed, and they were just ok. Overall, it was alright.
My wife had the red fish. She didn't like it, and afterwards said she should've never ordered fish at a place called "Meat & Potatoes". I tried hers and it was indeed bland....kind of like our dining experience.
This will likely be the most boring review we write. Sorry about that.
