  • If you happen to be spending a Saturday out toward Gastonia, consider stopping here for their 2 PM wine tasting. Every Saturday. The owner was friendly and the space is really nice. They have a nice bar with a few beers on tap* and even a 10-bottle wine dispenser to purchase a glass of wine. When we were there for the tasting, they were offering 3 wine samples and a beer. Afterwards you can browse through their collection of craft beers or bottles of wine to take some home. The beer fridge isn't huge, but gives you some options if you do need a good cold beer for the road...i mean when you get home and don't want to wait for it to get cold....don't drink and drive. Surprisingly a few months after Noda sold out of their TriUmphant, i found a bottle here! i only bought one, so they may still have one. Stopping here definitely made the day more enjoyable as we were waiting for our car getting worked on at the dealer. It's nice to see another option to pick up some good beer west of Charlotte. *You should be warned, they currently can't serve full glasses of beer and can't obtain private club status due to certain zoning issues that hopefully will be taken care of next month.
