Kinda torn on this place as it has some very nice qualities. Specifically the property itself. It feels isolated although it's pretty much south Phoenix metro. Left my patio door open and heard coyotes at night a great sound for a Colorado kid from back when Colorado was rural state...great pools for families and of course Golf looks great. Although the golf was way out of my price point at $180 as I had to rent clubs. I also Had a beautiful sunset view out my room as well very nice!
The bad, rooms are fair and the walls ridiculously thin. You can hear everything. I hate that. The food service staff is not the best chasing you out of an empty restaurant for a dress code violation is stooopid. Also the food is horrible bland and uncreative. The drinks are also overpriced but they've got you as there is nothing else around.
If the hotel of California was thing, this would be the Arizona version...,
