I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or to recommend it. Yes, the rooms or at least parts of the rooms need updating but the service is pretty inviting. The bellhop was exceptional and made me feel welcome. The front desk staff were very courteous but it would have been nice to have seen a few more of them as myself and a few others had to wait a while to check in on a Thursday evening.
The room was fine, comfortable and affordable but my bathtub stopper was busted and resulted in me calling the front desk. It's nice that the rooms have balconies but if your view isn't good enough just head up to the top floor. There you'll find a well maintained pool and gym area complete with a sweet deck view of downtown Toronto.
The food was amazing. I had breakfast at the sit down restaurant and the service was impeccable and the food was superb. Not to mention room service was reasonably priced and delicious.
The service, food, location and recreation areas are the big winner here.
The rooms just need some updating (bathtub was broken and the wallpaper was peeling all throughout the room).
