My car barely started in the morning, so I unexpectedly needed to stop at Pep Boys on the way to work. I had a hectic day ahead of me and was concerned I'd miss an important meeting. I called Pep Boys from the road and spoke to Gayle. I explained the issue and she told me to come right in for a free diagnostic battery check. I was pleasantly greeted by Jeff and was helped right away. They quickly determined my previous battery was the wrong size. I had paperwork from my previous installation at another location, indicating my battery was just over a year old. So they replaced it with the proper battery and gave me the great news it was free since it should've still been under warranty. I only needed to pay a minor installation fee and was in and out in under an hour. I even made it to my meeting thanks to their excellent customer service! I'd definitely come back to this location for future automotive needs.
