  • We started using Freedom Mobile in April after being promised that it had coverage throughout BC. False! It does not even have coverage within the lower mainland. We live in Burnaby and I work in (Central) Surrey in a complex with just under 3,000 employees. While at work, I can't phone out, text out, check email, check vm messages. Freedom Mobile does work if you are close to the Jimmy Patterson Hospital Pavillion or King George Sky Train station, but that is it for my commute/place of work. I cannot recommend this cell service to anyone in BC.
