I ordered the fried catfish dinner with collard greens, baked mac&cheese, and cornbread.
The fish was breaded perfectly and cooked to perfection. The greens were spicy and not overcooked. The mac&cheese was chewy and creamy in the familiar soul food style. The cornbread was sweet and crumbly, almost a dessert.
This is not someone's "take" on soulfood. It is the genuine article executed extremely well. I haven't had anything like it since I left Detroit 7 years ago and am lucky to have found this way to get my fix.
