If you're anything like our family, your dog is your family. Your son or daughter, or brother or sister. We had a 14 year old Springer Spaniel, who just was not happy with his quality of life. You could see it in his cataract eyes. It was his time to go. We had previously visited a different pet hospital where they suggest amputation as a form of pain management for his arthritic riddled arm. Our family decided that we should do what is best for our boy and we put him down. Dr. Hoff was a stand up veterinarian. He was calm, kind and professional. We brought in my dog around 9pm and he walked us through what would happen and gave us all the time we could need with him. The vet tech's there were upstanding as well as the reception desk. I wish I had gotten all of their names. I recommend Eastern Veterinary Emergency Hospital to anyone. If they can put myself and my family in comfort during something this heart breaking I can promise that they can do the same for you.
