  • This place should easily have been a 5-star. I'd like to say I'll go again to see if I have a better experience, but I'm not willing to put up the money for it. Couples massage: mediocre at best. And it cost $260 Not a bad price for 90 min. BUT with that price, you expect it to be a resort style massage (like Red Rock or GVR). It was supposed to be a Swedish massage...honestly, it was the kind of massage you get at Bali Foot Spa, or any other hourly place in town. I wanted to ask if the person giving the massage was a licensed therapist. In 90 mins she didn't rub my feet. She didn't ask me what areas to work on or how the pressure was (I had to tell her that it was too much). Also, both of the massage therapists had their phones on and in the room, 3 texts and 1 ANSWERED phone call. Massage Room: AWFUL. Really, really bad. The bed was uncomfortable and covered in rough towels (not sheets) ...again, if you're charging resort prices, it needs to be that level of experience. The room was freezing, huge, and marble. They brought a heat lamp in because we were cold, but it didn't help. Imagine being naked and rubbed with (not warm) oil in a freezing cold room...now try to relax and enjoy your massage. We could also hear the TV and people talking in the waiting area over the music. Super relaxing. Check in: ok. They had us down for the wrong time and said they would "squeeze us in"...could this be the reason for the horrible room and sub-par masseurs?! They gave us things to change into (shirts and shorts). I came out of the locker room to ask for flip flops as they don't allow outside shoes at all. They didn't have any left...they were cleaning them. But I was told the floor was "relatively clean"...so that's great. Ambience: great. (Hence the 2-stars I gave) loved the dry rooms upstairs. Very cool and relaxing. The red clay ball room was my favorite. Restaurant: CLOSED. Now, this would have been good to know when we called to book the massage, since we booked it around lunch time and planned to eat there. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. We were both really looking forward to having a nice, relaxing day and we splurged on the couples massage to treat ourselves...I'm left feeling ripped off for sure.
