| - It's been several years since I came here for to go. I generally order to go from Dim Sum houses, since I don't like to wait for a table during the weekend. However, I must say that I was surprised when I arrived at 10:30 AM that there was not a crowd/line. Granted they had only opened at 10:00 AM. So perhaps the next time I find myself out and about early and can get here at this timeframe, I may try to dine in for Dim Sum. Now, I order several dishes that I had been craving: Shanghai Dumpling, Hom Sui Gok, Har Gow, Shui Mai, Scallop Dumpling, Green Leak Gow (Pan fried), Spicy Salt Squid, Sticky Rice Wrap and Fried Shrimp Ball. Since I ordered to go, I won't comment on the temperature of the food; however, it was still warm when I got it home, so that is a good thing. All the steamed dumplings were good, well seasoned and had a good flavor. The spicy Salt squid was ok, the batter was a bit heavier than I had expected, but the flavor was good. I thought the Sticky Rice Wraps were a bit smaller than other places in the valley and the Hom Sui Gok was not the best. I know they took it from the case that was probably sitting there when they first opened, so it was not hot to begin with nor crispy anymore. That would be my only complaint, is to keep it under a heat lamp for a minimal amount of time so that it does not get overly cold and will not lose it's crispy texture that it would have if recently cooked and sitting. The girl who assisted me was good, courteous and quick to fill my order. Again, it's not something I go to all the time or eat, but I would definitely order from here again and will try dining in as well, if the timing is right.
