  • Love Barre3, an awesome offering under Classpass and one of my favourite barre workouts (personally I like the heavier workout aspect of this class, but dance oriented individuals should opt for Barre Beautiful midtown or Extension Room on King East). Located on King West between restaurant row (across from TIFF light box), it's a convenient location for downtown core professionals to get from desk to workout back to desk within one and a half hours max. Owner Amy is super friendly and after class she immediately seeks your feedback for improvement which is a nice touch. Love the thoughtful amenities - hair tie, spray deodorant, shampoo, body wash, disposable razors... Anything you may have not remembered. Further, the studio is clean and modern, and the instructors are wonderful! Super friendly, motivating and offers various iterations for different degrees of difficulty. There are also other Barre3s across North America if you're ever travelling elsewhere and want the same great workout. Try a class, your muscles will be sore (but secretly thanking you) after!
