I'm not an opponent of Macs. In fact, I Love My Macbook Pro. Had a friend's Macbook eat the dust because of some substantial liquid damage. Replaced the MagSafe adapter only to find out that the logic board was even more corroded.
This is when an IT guy who doesn't have a part shops around for a Macbook logic board. Found a couple repair sites on eBay, but wanted to stay local. Called the MacClinic twice (once leaving a very detailed, verbose message) and still haven't received a return phonecall from them.
Their website says they charge $90/hour in quarter hour increments, but I am going to have to hold back.
Prices of parts? Who knows? They wouldn't give me the time of day, and I don't feel that I should have to go out of MY way to give a company my money. Maybe they went out of business?
