  • This is one of those places that wherever I go and the topic of good drinks come up I tell them about this spot. A Montreal friend took me to Barmacie and I thought we were actually walking all over the city to get to this place so I had high expectations. They were not let down. If you are only in Montreal for just one night I would recommend this spot for an early drink or two. Their mojitos are served in stainless steel and are simply the greatest drink I've ever had -- not just mojito. The staff were very friendly and provided for a great start to a Montreal evening. I highly recommend Barmacie to my Ottawa friends who are headed to Montreal or anyone for that matter!
