  • Amazing. Don't look any further. Marina is literally an expert at waxing. From other Mississauga spas when getting a brazilian, I have had: ingrown hairs, pimples, redness for 5+ days, hair growing back at very different times, rashes, etc. It was very painful, uncomfortable, and at times a dirty room. Double dipping, wrong technique, dirty apparatus, wrong creams, not cleaning the area after - all major problems in Mississauga. I don't want to name businesses, but they are mostly run by Asian women. I am very pale, but have very corse black pubic hair. Shaving is not an option, and waxing has to be done right to be affective. When I moved to Mississauga I had to change aestheticians, and it was one fuck up after another. I went to 7 different spas with horrific results. To be clear: nothing was ever done for my comfort, nor did I get anywhere when I called to complain/showed up over a week later with a rash/ingrown hairs/pimples. I doubt half these places have licensing or are up to hygiene standards. **Marina was very knowledgeable, made me feel comfortable, her studio/home was spotless, she spoke English well and she herself was very clean and more than presentable. A (hardcore) brazilian wax lasted about 10 - 15 minutes and was (I'm not exaggerating) almost pain free... I don't know what to tell you, it really was. She said it was technique and the type of wax . In most places they make long wax streaks on you, like from your butt to the front of your bikini line and rip (which causes ingrown hairs), but she did little spots almost everywhere, and pulled them at different angles to be sure they didn't break (my hair grows at different angles) - which means she never went over the same area twice. Also the wax only felt warm to me, it wasn't "hot" at all. I told her my worries about redness and pimples and she held me back for 5 minutes explaining proper care after waxing for pimple prone women. (Wash with baking soda in the morning and evening). She is Russian, and does have a no nonsense attitude (like all Slavic women); just deal with it. This lady does such a good job it doesn't matter. If you have super thick black hair, but are sensitive - look no further.
