AVOID AT ALL COST IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!
After reveiwing the online website and even some reveiws,I felt this place had a lot of potential. Unfortunately after visiting today, The Rex Center fell way below my expectations.
1. This place could benefit from better signs; no one is aware of where lines end or begin which resulted in alot of accedental line cutting (in both attraction and purchasing lines).
2. It is nice that they offer 2 hour passes for $17 or one time passes for $10 for all their attractions (go karts, mini golf, laser tag and rock climbing). I walked around with my niece and we decided on go karts since the minigolf was a small hallway not worth $10 and both the rock climbing and laser tag lines were ridiculously long.
3. We waited 30 minutes to buy a 'one time rider" for go karts. Then another hour to go on go the karts; I was not aware of a Fast pass option and thus when a party of 10 randomly came to the front of the line demandning to go resulting in mass confusion amongst the people leading the go karts. The rules for the go karts were constantly being shouted from the front of the line by different employees and it didnt seem like they were able to get everyones attention. Finally we were seated into the karts but waited another 15 minutes as it's protocol to load riders before the current lap/race is finished.
NOTE: Riders under 51" must be accompanied by an adult driver (double riders). Unfortunatley, this means any and all ages are welcome as single riders (as lon as they meet the height requirement) and most riders were very young and not courteous of any rules.
Thus, the go karts may look fun but are quickly ruined due to the younger riders persistently bumping into each other/lanes which in turn deactivates all the go karts until an employee resets them.
Overall we did not enjoy our experience with the go karts nor did we find any of the other attractions worth our time. If you have planned occasion/reservation I feel this would place may be reconsidered but I will not be returning nor would I recommend any family or friends come here.
