| - I've been to Moo & Brew about five times now so I think I'm more than due for a review. Let's start off with the scene: they have a nice outdoor set-up with some communal tables, some bar-height seating, and some individual tables. You can order drinks at the walk-up window, which is fun. They have a big awning that they set up in the summer so you don't suffer in the scorching sun.
Inside is usually a bit loud. There are a number of TVs, a bar, and many tables of varying heights. Some fun memorabilia. It's a definitively FUN, relaxed atmosphere.
I love their waitstaff. The women in particular are so friendly and welcoming. Anyone will be happy to talk you their vast beer selection. And man, do they have a GREAT variety of beers. I'm not much of a beer gal but I know enough to recognize how awesome their spread is. They also have some wine (not great) and some cocktails. They are infamous for their outlandish bloody mary. If you want your bloody to come with food on top, Moo & Brew is the place.
Finally, onto the food. The pickins' as moderately slim for a vegetarian. Their cold platter is delicious. Those lavash crackers - YUM. I've only ever gotten the fire cobb salad, sometimes with a veggie burger on top. ALWAYS get it with the adobo ranch. I love that dressing so much. It's definitely not a healthy salad, but boy is it yummy.
The veggie burger, which can be customized into whatever you want, is good. I've grown a bit weary of the black bean style, but I do appreciate that theirs is homemade. I recommend ordering it as is on the menu, but the customization options are endless.
Their fries are great. The sweet potato fries are a solid 7.5/10. The parmesan fries, however, blew my mind. They are completely addictive. Love those fries.
Overall, it's a solid neighborhood joint. I will always admire Moo & Brew for its strong spirit and happy waitstaff. They also regularly host events which seem very well-received. So I'm sure I will soon be back!
