unless you absolutely need something only Canadian Tire carries and live very close to this location, it's best avoided.
- online inventory information is usually inaccurate. i've gone there twice looking for items they supposedly had "in stock" but which were in reality sold out.
- the store is understaffed. when you finally manage to track an employee down after a 20-minute search they usually act as if you're interrupting their day. they always insist items are "sold out" if they are not on the shelves (see inventory issue above) but without actually checking a computer or storage area. maybe they know every single item in the store and the corresponding inventory numbers by heart but i doubt it...
- the selection isn't great and for most household items is limited to the lowest quality possible, but at mid-range prices.
on the positive side returns are usually hassle-free and the store's worth a visit if you're looking for a particularly good advertised deal on a specific item.
