  • This place has gone downhill more quickly than Justin Guarini's music career. I used to really enjoy coming here, as shown by my previous review. They had a wide variety of products, nearly everything was $1.00, and the people were friendly. Over time, though, they have steadily begun raising prices on many items to the point where a significant portion of the useful items in the store are over $1.00. Not the end of the world, but just a bit annoying, and it feels a bit deceptive too. Their selection has declined dramatically too. Bye bye feta cheese, hello to yet another type of cheese that can be found anywhere else in the city! Worst of all, though, is the service. The lines at this place are constantly long and it takes forever to get out of there. I don't know what happened, but the place is constantly understaffed. I really don't like going here anymore unless I absolutely need to grab something cheaply. For discounted items, I much prefer Dollar Tree. Their selection is much better, everything in the whole store is $1.00, and the lines tend to move more quickly.
