| - We stopped in to try the cupcakes as I heard that this was a newer place. The entire boutique is very cute, colorful and has lots of other merchandise unrelated to the actual cupcakes. Apparently they host events too and I can see that this place would be a great spot to bring kids. I don't have any myself, but I can see how the birthday parties, etc. would be super cute here.
The women working were nice and explained a little bit about the cupcakes and the shop. Cupcakes are $5 each or 6 for $25. At that rate we decided to try 6:
The Dark Side: chocolatey, and what seems like devils food cake. As a huge chocolate fan I couldn't finish the entire cupcake myself though.
White Chocolate Raspberry: Definitely my favorite. Vanilla cake with white chocolate raspberry frosting. The fruity flavor was subtle and soooo good. Nothing was overpowering and it was delicious!
It's Your Birthday: chocolate cake and rich vanilla icing with sprinkles. Nothing fancy here.
Unicorn Cupcake: lots of color and probably a big hit for kids. Only thing sweet is the icing.
Death By Chocolate: chocolate cake, chocolate icing and white chocolate chips on top. Probably my second favorite. Good classic chocolate flavor.
Vanilla Ice Cream: vanilla cake, vanilla icing, definitely tastes more vanilla ice cream than cupcake.
Overall, I would recommend stopping in with kids, for special events/parties, or if you want to do more shopping. The cupcakes are cute if you need a snack while you are in there, but a little pricey for what you receive.
