| - This is how to relax.
A family run salon that treats you like you're their only client.
The first time I went in, I was greeted by both husband and wife who immediately sat me down in the massage chair, offered a drink and then proceeded to give a first class pedicure. Kira was my pedicurist and I can honestly say that the energy and warmth in the service allowed me to forget the rest of the world's noise; and isn't that half the reason we do this? To escape the world and feel a little better about ourselves...
On a personal note, a few years back, I got a pedicure in a spa that left my big right toe with a fungal infection that just wouldn't quit. But after only one session, I noticed a significant difference in the color and general health of the nail. It wasn't fixed, but it was clearly on it's way to recovery.
Since that first visit, I've been back twice. Once more with Kira and then with Tina.
It was actually the third time when their commitment to service really showed out. When I walked in, they were already busy with a full shop. Kira asked if I could come back in a few hours. When I made it clear that the time frame was less than convenient, she took down my cell and offered to call if and when something opened up. It did, she called and then, yes Tina was every bit as attentive to the task at hand.
