When I first started coming here I was wow' d at how pretty my nails looked and how long the SNS lasted. However, recently my nails have become weak/thin and are constantly breaking. Each time I'd go in they'd joke and blame it on something I must have done. After doing research i learned that drilling to remove the SNS down to the nail was thinning the nail (and yes it hurt). Also, by not actually doing a manicure and cutting the cuticle (unless you ask and pay extra) the extra skin causes the SNS to lift and weaken the nail also. Basically it's just an expensive polish change. This incorrect application process caused my nails to weaken and break, and have now cut all my nails down to allow them to grow back stronger (I've found a new nail salon). There is nothing organic or healthy about taking care of the nail wrong and cutting corners.
I believe once people start noticing how they are damaging the nail the reviews on here will change.
