Horrible service! I've had them for 4 years now because there aren't many internet companies out there. The first time I canceled my service because I had transferred from Tempe to Peoria and a guy came out to install the service into my apartment because no one had ever established service there. He asked me if I'd be interested in cable TV and I said no. Then he got anxious and offered me cable TV for 12 dollars a month for 6 months. I couldn't turn that down and was happy. next thing I know I get a bill for 300 dollars and I was pissed. Turns out the guy lied and Cox wanted to charge me regular price. So I canceled and battled to get the charges dropped. I didn't have internet for months and finally Cox sent me a letter offering me a deal for 6 months and so I took it. Now I've moved into a new house and Cox screws me again. I call to get the internet installed and the guy offers me the medium speed for 19.99 a month. So I pay the 19.99 and I get a bill two weeks later charging me 60 dollars. I was pissed and called the customers service line. The guy tells me he is sorry and that a supervisor will look into this and that he's only charge me the 19.99. I had self installed the internet myself and they were trying to charge me 19.99 for that and the regular price for the internet. The operator said that I would be getting a call from Cox and it's been two weeks. I won't be surprised if they try to send me another bill asking for what the guy took off because they like to screw people over. As for the internet it's really fast but there are times when it goes down or just doesn't work properly.
